Over the past decade, I have created hundreds of cakes for weddings, celebrations, and special events throughout Atlanta and North Georgia. While the creative side of cake decorating is what most people see, there is also a great deal of organization happening behind the scenes.

As a small, family-owned bakery based in Flowery Branch, Georgia, Artful Cakery by Julie operates very differently from a traditional retail bakery.
Each cake is baked fresh to order and designed specifically for the client. That means every order involves consultations, planning, design discussions, scheduling, contracts, payments, and coordination with venues or event planners.
For many years, those processes were handled through a combination of emails, notes, and manual tracking systems. As the business continued to grow, it became clear that those methods were becoming time-consuming and difficult to manage efficiently.
