There’s something truly timeless about a wedding design that feels both nostalgic and effortlessly romantic—and the Heirloom Heart Styled Shoot in Centre, Alabama captured that feeling perfectly.

I had the honor of creating a custom wedding cake for this beautifully curated shoot at Strickland Farm, surrounded by an incredibly talented team of wedding professionals and creatives.

From delicate florals to vintage-inspired details, every element came together to create a soft, editorial look designed to inspire couples planning a romantic wedding in Alabama, Atlanta, and beyond.

A Vintage-Inspired Wedding Cake with Romantic Details

For this shoot, I designed a four-tier buttercream wedding cake inspired by vintage piping techniques and heirloom-style details.

The design featured:

Intricate piped garlands and scalloped textures
Soft, monochromatic buttercream for a clean, elegant base
Bright red cherries for a playful, modern contrast
A classic gold cake stand to elevate the presentation

This style blends Lambeth-inspired piping with a fresh editorial twist, making it perfect for couples who want something traditional—but with personality.
