One of the places I occasionally share my cake designs with the international cake decorating community is Cakes Decor, an online platform where cake artists from around the world post their work, exchange ideas, and celebrate creativity in cake design.
Just like many artists, I have thousands of cake photos from past projects. Posting them online can feel like a huge task, especially when I’m focused on baking and decorating cakes for current clients. So I decided to set a simple goal for myself — add one or two cakes to my Cakes Decor profile each month.
Sometimes the best way to tackle a big project is to simply start and keep moving forward a little at a time!
Recognition on Cakes Decor
One of the fun parts of sharing work on Cakes Decor is seeing how the cake decorating community responds to different designs. I have been honored that several of my cakes have already appeared in the Daily Top 3, which highlights some of the most popular cakes posted on the platform.

One of my favorite sculpted cake projects featured on Cakes Decor is a realistic 3-D tractor-trailer cake. Sculpted cakes like this require careful carving, internal structure, and hand-crafted edible details to create a dimensional design that resembles the real object.

Sharing Cakes with the Global Cake Community
Platforms like Cakes Decor give cake artists an opportunity to share their work beyond local clients. It’s fascinating to see designs from decorators around the world and how different cultures and artistic styles influence cake decorating trends.
While my primary focus is creating custom wedding cakes, sculpted groom’s cakes, and celebration cakes for clients throughout Atlanta and North Georgia, it’s fun to occasionally share those designs with the broader cake decorating community.
Follow Along as More Cakes Are Added
Because I have created hundreds of cakes over the years, my Cakes Decor page will continue to grow as I gradually add more designs.
Posting a cake or two each month is a manageable way to slowly build the gallery and share some of the projects that have been part of my journey as a cake designer.
