When I first created this page, it was simply a placeholder while I planned future blog posts and newsletters for Artful Cakery by Julie. Like many small business owners, I had every intention of writing regularly — but between baking cakes, meeting with clients, designing wedding cakes, and delivering cakes to venues across Atlanta and North Georgia, the blog sometimes had to wait!
Now this space is becoming a place where I can share more about the creative journey behind the cakes, the events they are designed for, and the wonderful people I meet along the way.

Artful Cakery by Julie is a custom cake studio based in Flowery Branch, Georgia, serving weddings and events throughout Atlanta and North Georgia.
Each cake is baked fresh to order and designed specifically for the client and event. Popular cake designs include:

A Creative Journey That Started Years Ago
Cake decorating has been part of my life for many years. I began baking cakes for friends and family long before Artful Cakery by Julie officially became a business.
Over time, that passion for baking and decorating grew into a full-time creative career focused primarily on wedding cakes and custom celebration cakes. Today I have the privilege of creating cakes for couples and families celebrating some of the most important moments of their lives.
